Empty Bowls 2025
Empty Bowls is an annual community fundraiser held in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, aimed at combating food insecurity in the region. Organized by the Carlisle Arts Learning Center (CALC) in partnership with Project SHARE, the event brings together local artists, volunteers, and residents for an evening of art, food, and community support.
At the event, attendees enjoy a variety of homemade soups and breads, and each guest receives a handcrafted ceramic bowl to take home—a symbolic reminder of the empty bowls faced by those experiencing hunger. The 2025 event took place on Monday, March 10, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Project SHARE’s warehouse located at 5 N. Orange Street, Suite #4, Carlisle, PA. Tickets were priced at $25, with proceeds supporting Project SHARE’s mission to reduce food insecurity in the greater Carlisle area.
