All About Me
Women In Business
My number one long-term goal is to open my own esthetic spa—a space that promotes confidence, self-care, and inner healing. I’m actively working toward making that dream a reality. I’m currently enrolled in a 450-hour esthetics program, building the hands-on skills and knowledge I need to excel in the beauty industry. I will also be attending Temple University to earn my bachelor’s business degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, combining my passion for skincare with a strong foundation in business.
While at Temple, I’ll be part of Beauty Birds, a community service organization that empowers individuals through cosmetics, skincare and human connection. Through this program, I’ll have the opportunity to use my esthetic expertise to give back—offering services free of charge to those in need and helping others feel seen, valued, and beautiful.
Mental Health Advocacy
My journey of becoming a mental health advocate started from my personal experience and struggle with mental illness. At age 16, I survived an overdose suicide attempt, and just months later, I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and Anxiety.
That chapter of my life was one of the darkest I’ve ever known. I felt lost, broken, and unsure if I would ever find my way out. But through therapy, self-reflection, an incredible support system, and the decision to fight for my future, I slowly began to heal. It wasn’t overnight. It took time, growth, and learning how to love myself again.
Today, I can confidently say I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. I’ve discovered strength I didn’t know I had, and I’ve turned my pain into purpose. Becoming a mental health advocate has given me a way to share my story not just to heal myself, but to hopefully help others know they’re not alone. I’m committed to using my voice, my story, and my platform to reach those who are going through what I once did—to remind them that healing is possible.
